Packed with Pride (PwP) is a food support program operating under The Foundation for Tigard Tualatin Schools (FTTS). FTTS is a non-profit fundraising organization that supports the Tigard Tualatin School District (TTSD). PwP serves as a proud Partner Agency of the Oregon Food Bank (OFB).
We are a no-barrier food pantry offering a shopping-style model to anyone in need.
Everyone is welcome to shop one time per week on either Tuesday (1:00pm-3:30pm) or Thursday (5:00pm-7:30pm).
Packed with Pride is located at 11305 SW Bull Mountain Road Tigard 97224 at SW Pacific Highway / 99W across from the Shell gas station. We rent space from Christ the King Lutheran Church, however, we are not affiliated with Christ the King or any church. We do not require any religious affiliation and we do not conduct any religious activity.
Our entrance is around the back of the building (furthest from the road). Parking for volunteers is available in the upper parking lot. Look for the Park & Ride sign (2nd right from 99W).
Click here to see where we are located in the church building and where to park.
The minimum age to volunteer without an adult is 15 years old. For children under 15 years old, we require that an adult accompany and be responsible for them during the entire volunteer shift. To bring a child under 15, please coordinate with PwP before the shift so we can adjust accordingly. Please do not add a child to a spot on SignUp – those spots are reserved for volunteers 15+ years old.
Our partnerships with the Tigard Tualatin School District (TTSD) and Oregon Food Bank (OFB) require all volunteers complete the following two* applications prior to volunteering.
Please note the approximate times to complete and process both applications for clearance before your first volunteer assignment.
There is no cost to the volunteer for the background check. All personal information will be kept confidential and will not be shared. Volunteer background checks expire after 3 years.
If you are not a parent in the Tigard Tualatin district, complete the application as follows:
Section 1: Type of Applicant = Community Member
Section 3: School Selection = The Foundation for Tigard Tualatin Schools
Section 4: Activities = Packed with Pride

Emails are sent weekly from mail@signup.com to share our upcoming volunteer opportunities. You may receive a couple extra emails for last minute needs. If you can’t find our emails, check your Spam folder.
We require volunteers to sign up in advance for all shifts. Our shifts are planned out carefully to ensure we have the number of volunteers necessary to complete all the tasks within the assigned amount of time.
Volunteer roles include processing donations, pantry preparation, stocking shelves, check-in, floater/runner, pantry assistant, drivers for donation pick ups, and other assignments as needed.
For details, see the listings at SignUp.com
(do not sign up until you’ve completed your volunteer requirements above)
Please only sign up for yourself. Each volunteer needs to have their own email address assigned in SignUp.
SignUp allows you to include a +1, however, we need each person’s email address to confirm they have completed the necessary requirements before volunteering. We will need to contact you for that information which can delay the process.
We reserve the spots on the SignUp for volunteers 15+ years old (see Minimum Age Requirement above for how to sign up and accompany a child under the age of 15).
Please arrive at your scheduled shift time — not earlier.
We appreciate your enthusiasm and commitment, however, the time before a shift is when our staff is focused on essential prep tasks to ensure the shift runs smoothly. Early arrivals (even just a few minutes) interrupt that flow and can unintentionally cause delays.
If you arrive early, we ask that you wait until your scheduled time to enter the building. Your timeliness helps everything run more efficiently — and keeps us sane 🙃
If you arrive for a shift that you are not signed up for, you may be turned away.
Please plan to stay the entire duration of the shift. Late arrivals are disruptive to the operations, and early departures leave our staff and other volunteers with more work and possibly having to stay even longer.
If you are unable to arrive by the start time or need to leave early for your shift, please consider a different shift or date. Exceptions can be made, however, special arrangements need to be coordinated with the Operations Manager before your scheduled shift so that we have time to adjust accordingly.
We understand that life happens, so if you need to cancel, please try to give as much notice as possible. Our shifts depend on having a minimum number of volunteers to operate efficiently, and we need time to adjust accordingly and recruit another volunteer for your spot.
We encourage volunteers to dress in layers. The temperature inside our space can fluctuate greatly. Some tasks may also require that volunteers go into the walk-in refrigerator (35 degrees) or the walk-in freezer (-10 degrees).
For safety reasons, shoes must have closed toes and closed heels.
We have disposable gloves for volunteers to use. Masks are optional.
When volunteering during our shopping hours, we ask that all volunteers wear a name tag (provided).
These guidelines enable Packed with Pride to operate in the safest and most efficient way so we can do the important work of providing a safe and welcoming space for families in need. We appreciate you taking the time to read and follow these guidelines.Still have questions? Email volunteer@packedwithpride.org
