The Foundation for Tigard Tualatin Schools

Mission Statement:

We are a community fundraising non-profit that invests in people and programs to help our students thrive.

How it All Began

In March of 2020, Packed with Pride (PWP) began as a joint effort of the Foundation for Tigard Tualatin Schools, the Tigard-Tualatin Educators Association, the Tigard-Tualatin Student Union, and TTSD School Board Members Maureen Wolf and Ben Bowman. PWP was meant to be a temporary service during school closure.

In June 2021, PWP continued as a food support program for students and their families, under the ownership of The Foundation for Tigard Tualatin Schools, with facilities support by the school district. PWP also became a proud Partner Agency of the Oregon Food Bank.

Our financial donors & food donors, along with our volunteers, all contribute to providing food for our Tigard-Tualatin School District families and community members.

From 2020 to June 2024, Packed with Pride used a drive-through food box distribution model at Tigard High School. As of July 2024, PWP now offers a shopping model at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Tigard.
